We hope that the information on this page will answer some of the questions you may have about returning to school.
Photographs of your classrooms September 2020
We hope these photographs help you to know what to expect your classroom to look like when we return to school.
What should we wear for school and what can we bring?
We would like you to return to school wearing uniform. However, we understand that your parents might not have had the opportunity to buy new uniform and that most of you will have outgrown what you had! So, if you need to wear other clothes in autumn 1st half term that is fine.
We will be doing lots of activities outdoors so you will need to bring a waterproof coat with you.
If it is sunny, you will need to bring a sun hat/cap to school with you and you will need to have applied sun cream before you leave home on a morning.
We will not be getting changed for PE lessons so we need you to wear trainers so that you can safely complete PE activities and other outdoor activities.
You must bring a full bottle of water (not flavoured) to school with you. If you do not have a water bottle, you will be given one on the first day of school for you to keep. Water bottles will not be refilled throughout the school day.
You do not need to bring a snack in from home. All pupils will be provided with a daily piece of fruit.
Other school resources (reading book, pencil case etc.)
You will take a reading book home with you every night in a plastic folder. All other resources that you need will be in your tray on your desk.
We will decide in September if homework will be sent out. We will let you know when this decision has been made.
This story might also help you to understand what school life will be like when we return.
